• Conductive Compounds - An Update on the PolyCond Project

Abstract

This paper aims to supply an update of the results of the EC-funded PolyCond project, which is targeted at SMEs working with conductive plastics materials and products for shielding and / or ESD protection applications. The work has centred upon the use of doped and plasticized polyaniline complex in hybrids with filler materials to form nano-scale in-situ morphologies in combination with nano-scale fillers. Various case studies have been put together and will be used to highlight the progress that has been made.

 

This paper was presented at the Nanopolymers Conference 2008 (7-8 October 2008) in Frankfurt, Germany.
